Best League Win:
7-0 v Portsmouth 07/11/1964
Division 2
Last
meeting: Ipswich Town
2, Norwich City 1 (April 13,
2008): Norwich City slipped
to defeat in the East Anglian
derby despite being given the
perfect start by Ched Evans
against Ipswich at Portman Road.
Striker Evans scored a stunning
goal in the fourth minute to
put the Canaries ahead, but
an own goal by Alex Pearce from
a cross by Danny Haynes brought
Town level after 11 minutes.
Haynes was once again the man
to sink Norwich when he struck
the winner after 38 minutes
from a Pablo Counago pass.

Norwich away win: Ipswich
Town 0, Norwich City 1 (September
18, 2005): The stage was set
perfectly for a man who likes
to be at the centre of it, and
sure enough, six minutes into
the second half, Darren Huckerby
had scored one of the most important
goals of his City career to
set his side on their way to
a much needed three points.
Doherty set up the chance with
a superb crossfield pass from
the right and, when Price came
out to try and intercept, the
City legend was in like a shot
to flick the ball past him and
curl it into an unguarded net.
Cue mayhem in the seats just
to his left. Full

Chances: Whisper it
quietly around these parts,
but Town are upwardly mobile
and could be a force to be reckoned
with this season. They narrowly
missed out on the play-offs
last time around despite their
fantastic home form. Magilton
has lots of money to spend and
so far seems to be doing a good
job, although the loss of Jon
Walters will be a blow. Midfielder
David Norris, signed from Plymouth,
could be the catalyst for a
surge towards the play-offs
again.
