2, Luton Town 0 (November 19, 2005):
From the moment that Andy Hughes blasted
Norwich ahead in the third minute
the result was rarely in doubt. Huckerby,
to his credit, was back to his bright
and busy self and added the second
after 25 minutes following a fabulous
Dean Ashton flick. For
Luton, their season unravelled in
the dying seconds when first Russell
Perrett saw red for his second bookable
offence and then more bizarrely Hatters
skipper Kevin Nicholls was also shown
a red card long after the final whistle
had blown for allegedly making an
obscene gesture at the Canary supporters.

Chances: Luton finished
just four places off the play-off
zone last term after an outstanding
first season in the Championship and
are more than capable under Mike Newell
to muster another promotion push.
They have struggled to strengthen
their squad this summer, though, and
this could determine the fate of their
campaign.
