Best League Win: 9-3 v Wolves 18/09/1965 Division 2

Last meeting: Southampton 0, Norwich City 1 (January 29, 2008): Norwich City's unbeaten run moved into double figures at Southampton A Ched Evans goal on the stroke of half-time was enough to secure another three points towards the safety fund, built on the back of 10 Championship games without defeat. And while City will be grateful to the woodwork – and Stern John's wayward accuracy from the penalty spot – there's no doubt their work ethic got them through. Full Match Report

Chances: Last gasp survival was a major shock to the St Mary’s faithful who were expecting to be pushing at the top half of the table. But a lack of cash and the departure of boss George Burley to the Scotland job contributed to their woes. However, Stern John’s goals kept them up and the likes of talented under 21 international Andrew Surman will be expected to produce the goods this time around.
