His Premiership adventure was limited to just three league
appearances and one Carling Cup game, as he struggled to establish
himself ahead of Darren Huckerby, Leon McKenzie, Mathias Svensson
and Dean Ashton. Still featured in the international Under-20s
Toulon tournament at the end of the season, and will be hoping
Svensson’s departure will open doors for him.
A disappointing campaign for the young striker, who was limited
to just four substitutes' appearances. Another player whose
cause wasn't helped by injury.
Verdict: Youth is still on his side - but
he will need to start producing the goods soon if he is to
have a future at Carrow Road.

How do you relax from football: I love a
game of snooker. I play a lot with Jason Shackell and my highest
break is now up to 47. I also enjoy going out with my girlfriend
– although it’s sometimes nice just to chill out
at times. I like to go home to Thetford to see my parents
and my little brother Robert.
Favourite other sport to play: I just mentioned
it, snooker.
Favourite other sport to watch: Boxing, athletics
– but nothing can beat football and I’m always
trying to catch our games to watch my own performance and
see how I can improve as a player.
Favourite holiday destination: Falakari in
Greece and Ibiza. They are both great places for people of
my age.
Favourite television programme: Eastenders,
Match of the Day.
Favourite restaurant/eating place: The Wildebeest
in Stoke Holy Cross.
Favourite read: Books on gangs/gangsters.
I’ve just read one about ‘Mad’ Frankie Fraser.
Recommended listening: R&B and hip-hop.
R Kelly is one of my favourites.
Best thing about living in Norfolk: The people
are so friendly and I love the pace of life here.
Worst thing about living in Norfolk: There
isn’t one as far as I’m concerned.
Whose result do you look for first: Liverpool.
What would you have done for a living if you hadn’t
made the grade: I would have gone to college and
then hopefully university, to further my education and then
moved on from there.
What will you do when your playing days are over:
As the years go by I’d like to acquire a few properties.
I think that’s a good area to invest in and it’s
something I’d like to develop later in life.
