The former Sunderland striker will be
hoping to stay injury free after a number of knocks last season
kept him on the sidelines. Brown has not had the opportunity
to justify his £325,000 price tag and has yet to open
his City account but he will be hoping to form a good partnership
with Jamie Cureton if he can stay clear of injuries.
Had a troubled time last season, sent
off in his second game – the FA Cup tie at Blackpool
– and struggled with a back problem which limited him
to half a dozen league and FA Cup starts. The problem has
now been solved and Brown looks fit. Scored his first Norwich
goal in the 12-0 pre-season rout of Lowestoft.
