Norwich City Ladies started their pre-season by welcoming National Premier League outfit Watford to Plantation Park. The young city side, who play in the SE Combination, took the game to the Hertfordshire side right from the kick-off and much to the visitors' surprise City found themselves 3-0 up through Chelsea Garrett and young Charlie Branch who was making her first team debut.

Wymondham Town Ladies impressed in the Hethersett five-a-side and with 18 teams taking part, the competition was of a very high standard. Wymondham performed really well with one team finishing up in the semis, losing narrowly to Hethersett 1-0 after a really high performance on the day.

Norwich City Girls U11 won their age group at the recent Soccer on the Sands tournament. In the World Cup-themed event the girls played as Brazil. After beating Dereham, Brandon A and drawing with Waveney in the group stages, Norwich beat Brandon B in the semifinals to then face Brandon A again in the final.

Norwich City Girls and Ladies FC have announced trial date for players aged 16 and above. The club is the highest-placed senior female football club in Norfolk. The club currently has two senior sides, the first team play in the South East Combination League (third tier of women's football), and finished this season in third place, securing both the Norfolk and Suffolk Senior Women's County Cup and South East Combination League Cup as well.
