Pub: The Earl is about a 10 minute walk away from the ground
on Queens Road, which is suitable for away fans to drink in.
Last league meeting: Sheffield United 1, Norwich City 0
(January 10, 2009): Glenn Roeder's Norwich City slipped further into trouble
in the Championship table with another defeat on the road at the hands of
promotion-chasing Sheffield United. The only goal, after 17 minutes, by
Darius Henderson condemned the Canaries to their ninth defeat in their last
10 away league games. Henderson was given the freedom of Sheffield to head
home from a cross by Danny Webber to mark his return from a three match
ban.
City connection: United spent £3m on former City loanee
Ched Evans last summer; he scored three times in 27 appearances.
