No new worries for Lambert ahead of Brighton clash

Paul Lambert has no fresh injury worries as Norwich City look to make it four League One wins from five, against struggling Brighton tomorrow night (7.45pm).

Matt Gill (calf), Owain Tudur Jones (groin), Declan Rudd (knee), Luke Daley and George Francomb (thighs) all remain some way from a first team return, while Michael Spillane is expected to be out until Christmas with a hamstring injury.

However, the Canaries avoided any more injury trouble during their pulsating 2-2 draw with Southampton at St Mary's on Saturday, where City twice came from behind to earn a valuable point to stay fifth.

Substitutes Cody McDonald and, in particular, goalscorer Stephen Hughes are pushing for starts on an evening when Norwich could close to within a point of second place Charlton if the evening's other results go City's way.

Brighton, who sit one position above the League One relegation zone, will be playing their third game under new manager, Gus Poyet, who guided the Seagulls to a 3-1 win at Saints in his first match in charge.

But he suffered his first defeat on Saturday, as Brighton went down 3-0 at home to league leaders, Leeds United.
