Old Men Shouldn't Wear Replica Shirts!

Because they look daft!.
I'm 60 in September, and I wouldn't be seen dead in City replica shirt in public.
I'm nearly bald with a beer and bad diet induced tummy, and I look bloody tragic in one. Okay, I admit I buy a new City shirt when a new kit is launched, but I wear them these days to potter around the house and garden.
In public, I wear one of my many smart City designer T shirts available from the club shop, they carry the same badge as the replic shirts anyway, they fit me better and hide the lumps! and to me, thats the important thing.
Next time you're in Carrow Road, look around at the old farts, gamely trying to squeeze into their replica's, don't laugh at them, all us old boys have been there..........and so will the current youngsters too one day!.
Replica shirts is a young mans game in my opinion, ie under 35.
Agreed?.![Confused [*-)]](/cs/emoticons/emotion-42.gif)

I still wear one and I'm 42. Suppose I'm not too bothered what people want to think of that.
Don't panic Mr Mainwaring!

Some people can't afford to buy a replica shirt and a T-shirt as well. Is there a lower age-limit as well Wiz? Seems that a baby could not run around for 90 minutes yet there are several NCFC fan parents who will kit thier kids in them. Wear what you like I say, as long as it has the canary on it.....
What does get me, however, is the amount of kids at my son's school sporting Chelsea, Man. Utd and Liverpool sports bags.....I feel sorry for the little Glory Hunters.

Wear what you can , when you can. I wear my Green Lotus '04 away in Ipswich all the time, granted I often have a tank top on however the colours are still visible and often get rumbled and I love it.
My girlfriend wears Thomas Helveg match worn shorts in bed and it's great :-) ;-) Love her
I have a club tie (1999) that I wear to work that has the crest all over it but subtly, over 2000 customers see it a week - Love it
Special mention to all the Canaries in Ipswich on match days walking through the town to get to the train station - Love it.
...not a binner, just a guerilla canary living in Ipswich town centre (village square) getting my pink un out in planet booo!

For one of the first times ever i agree with Wiz!!!
While i believe in freedom of choice and the right to do what you want i agree that middle aged men and older in replica shirts do look a bit sad!!
I don't know why this is it's just one of those things. Although Wiz i do have to say you focus too much on the negative, why don't you talk about football fans that look good in their kits like this..........................http://www.rascott.com/Blog%20Archive/viral_stripslide06.jpg
