It seems the people at the pink'un haven't heard the news!
Yesterday ex Canary legend Craig Fleming agreed terms with the West Norfolk club til the end of the season. He goes straight into the side for saturdays first home game at the Walks against Gloucester. He had offers from other league clubs but wanted to stay in Norfolk as the travelling was difficult. Fleming was still a pro as recently as August with Rotherham & I seem to remember him being good going forward in some 382 appearances for Norwich. What a coup for the chairman Mr Ken Bobbins & what a crowd puller at the age of 34/35 he is still a very good ex-professional. This must be one of the best pieces of business the club have done in recent years with Fleming at the heart of the Linnets defence the future suddenly looks a lot more rosy - not that it didn't before. With the main stand open & fully-refurbished & the team doing well in league & cup Linnets fans have good reasons to be optimistic.
Isn't he on the roll of honour/hall of fame at Carrow Road?

erm ... craig fleming was a hero at norwich. what are you on about?
Its always a shame when a serious injury forces a player to retire at any level of football! But he was winding down anyway - not everyone is like Dion Dublin or Teddy Sheringham both of whom have announced their retirements at the end of this season!
He did score a couple of goals for us, and played alright, so he DID play his part for Keith Webb, he has nothing to feel guilty about.
