Because they look daft!.
I'm 60 in September, and I wouldn't be seen dead in City replica shirt in public.
I'm nearly bald with a beer and bad diet induced tummy, and I look bloody tragic in one. Okay, I admit I buy a new City shirt when a new kit is launched, but I wear them these days to potter around the house and garden.
In public, I wear one of my many smart City designer T shirts available from the club shop, they carry the same badge as the replic shirts anyway, they fit me better and hide the lumps! and to me, thats the important thing.
Next time you're in Carrow Road, look around at the old farts, gamely trying to squeeze into their replica's, don't laugh at them, all us old boys have been there..........and so will the current youngsters too one day!.
Replica shirts is a young mans game in my opinion, ie under 35.
Agreed?.
I actually think the replica shirts look good on everyone! Especially the ladies!
Anyone and everyone should be allowed to wear replica shirts. I love wearing mine around London.......but those ones made specifically for woman are very nice, shame my girlfriend won't be seen dead in one!
Some people can't afford to buy a replica shirt and a T-shirt as well. Is there a lower age-limit as well Wiz? Seems that a baby could not run around for 90 minutes yet there are several NCFC fan parents who will kit thier kids in them. Wear what you like I say, as long as it has the canary on it.....
What does get me, however, is the amount of kids at my son's school sporting Chelsea, Man. Utd and Liverpool sports bags.....I feel sorry for the little Glory Hunters.

Thats a good point bunny.
You can tell its the close season...
See your point Wiz but think it should only apply to "big" premier clubs - supporting a team thats a bit "off the radar" means shirts should be worn by everyone, all of the time. Spread the word of NCFC. I know if I see a canary in London it makes me smile and theyre an instant friend for life!
What's the age limit then Wiz
And an old person that thinks they are a Wizard isn't daft?
