I've tried to add as many logical statements as possible. We should have sold Marshall and put more faith into young Joe's abilities Marshall is a solid goalkeeper and Joe needed to leave to advance his career In the end, Joe would not have been called up to the England squad while being Norwich's No 3. We did right to sell him considering we placed a large sale on clause in the deal We should have keep Marshall and Lewis for competition sake Selling Joe Lewis was the best decision for the club financially and will work out in the long run.

If my knowledge is right, it's 40% of the whole fee, not just the profit (like in Ashton's case)
