Mundford Football Club would like to welcome any new players to join up with the current squad for the coming 2008/09 campaign. The Football Club currently have 2 teams (1st & Res) playing in the Dolphin Autos Anglian Combination.
Despite the 1st team's relegation from Division 2 last season the squad has already been strengthened ready for a promotion push next term with a vast amount of former players returning from senior clubs around the area.
The Reserve team is also in the process of being restructed with a new manager likely to be taking charge in the coming weeks. It is also thought that with the new appointment many new players will be joining the club so the future definitely looks very bright.
The Stags currently have around 5-6 Norwich based players, so for anyone concerned with the amount of travelling involved - sharing lifts can be easily arranged. Also many of the teams away games are based in & around the Norwich area.
Pre-season training will commence Wednesday 2nd July 2008 @ 7.00pm. (The Glebe, Mundford)
