Jesus Christ... We're gonna have our physio playing centreback the way this is going...

Upon which evidence are you basing this assumption? the media has been insistent that we have rejected an offer for Shackell and Wolves have pulled out of bidding.

OK, there is no real proof that Jason's leaving. But the rumour's getting persistent and has reached the black country press too.

Just very concerned...Sad [:(]

Well lets look at the order of events:

1) Media get wind of a £1million bid for Shackell.

2) Roeder says he hasnt had a bid and that Shackell has a role to play at Norwich

3) Media state that Wolves have had bid rejected and have pulled out of any deal.

4) Wolves increase offer for Berra (centre back) to £1.75 million.

Looks like a dead deal if I have ever seen one.

Mick McCarthy: "“We had a bid in for Berra but that deal is dead, as is the Jason Shackell one. They won't be done at all. Hearts are saying he won't be going anywhere, Shackell is not going to happen, so I've moved on from those."
