Getting a Link with elfsborgs could be good for us

Matty Svensson mentions in the article on the frint page he'd like to take a few of our players there..
Sweden is a fairly decent standard and the chance to send youngsters out on loan could only be a good thing for both us and them... Perhaos we could have a few of their players on loan as well... With views to permanent deals it could be a foot in the door in Scandinavia and an idirect scouting mission for us..
Perhaps Svenners could reccomend a few decent cheap youngsters who coul do well too...
i think the club should persure it!

agreed... there are a number of decent swedes i am sure matty could recommend to us.. and likewise... the likes of ryan jarvis of before could have done with time in the swedish league... chrissy martin could do well out of a term there if he is not getting any 1st team action...

Teddy Sheringham went out on loan to Djurgardens in his younger days, did not do him any harm..........not many people know that

In my managerial career (largely centred around Championship Manager 2000/01), Sweden is absolutely the best place to scout. There are loads of bargains to be had, and the players generally have very high workrate and determination. I'd be delighted if we could get a couple of quality Swedish players in, if only to back up my theory that real life imitates Championship Manager and not the other way around... ;)

Yes, it´s true, there are many good players in Sweden that would do a great job in England. I know many players that could be very good for Norwich:)
But I think it´s a mental thing too. The tempo in England is a little bit higher, but not the technique. When a player in Sweden is good he almost always goes to Holland, Norway or Denmark. The can earn more money there but the league is not much better than the Swedish one. For some years, perhaps two? FC Copenhagen beat Man Utd in Champions League. FC Copenhagen is the richest and the best team in Scandinavia (they always but the best players in Sweden), but there are many other teams that are equal to them...
I wounder if there are any scouters in Scandinavia for Norwich? I understand that it´s much more easier to buy players from Scotland or clubs from Britian, but sometimes I wounder if the players in Scandinavia wouldn´t be better. I mean, thats a lot of rubbish in Britian and sometimes the rubbish represent us i Norwich too...:)

And by the way, Peter Crouch has also been in Sweden, in the third league. He was a youth and didn´t do any success...

I'm pretty sure Svensson is only the assistant manger, but would still be good to get some sort of link.
