The Gloucester boss Tim Harris, who sportingly asked his players to applaud the Lynn fans on the final whistle, believes it will be King's Lynn and not the Students who will go on to be crowned champions. Harris said: "I asked my players to applaud the Lynn fans out of respect, King's Lynn are a great club. "I personally think they will go on and win the title, which would be right and proper. "They are a terrific team with fantastic technical ability and they have the fan support to back that up." Three points to be champions and rise a tier, we must play to win and with no fear. A sleeping giant will awake from its slumber, the Conference awaits an overdue number. Whether North or South we shall not care, whichever league it is in numbers we'll be there. This weekend we come of age and can hold our heads up high, for we are King's Lynn FC, mighty King's Lynn til we die! Well here's a chance to eat your own words mate! As tommorow we NCFC rejects clinch promotion! Next season instead of watching City loose at home yet again, come down and support the Linnets in their inaugaral year in the Conference setup. Even if its only on Norwich away days I think you'll be pleasently surprised! C'mon all you Norwich fans letsbehavinya' afterall its your former coaching stalwart Keith Webb in charge.
