I'd be surprised if any of those (other than maybe Funeral) make it into the top ten...

Er, somehow managed to miss out probably my favourite album of them all, Loveless by My Bloody Valentine... take out the 65 Days Of Static album!

Of course, Herman... ![Smile [:)]](/cs/emoticons/emotion-1.gif)
In fact, I've realised I need to listen to more Pixies and I'll take it as a recommendation ![Smile [:)]](/cs/emoticons/emotion-1.gif)

This is too hard! Do I pick albums because they have my favourite tracks, or leave them out in favour of a more complete record?
But seeing Interpol on here a couple of times reminded me - is anyone here going to the Latitude festival? We've been to both so far and they are excellent (Interpol are playing if I'm not making sense - back to Talking Heads again!). Think it's sold out now though.
I got down to 24 and then it's like trying to pick your favourite children! But because I want to join in with the fun:
Jonathan Richman -Rockin and Romance Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon Mile Davies - Kind of Blue The Smiths - The Smiths David Gray - White Ladder Goldie Lookin Chain - Greatest Hits The Human League - Travelogue John Martyn - Solid Air Rufus Wainwright - Want Two The Streets - Original Pirate Material Lou Reed - Transformer
I know it's eleven but I just can't reject any more.

Mind if I leave out Goldie Looking Chain, they good for a laugh but sully the cool a little bit... ![Wink [;)]](/cs/emoticons/emotion-5.gif)
On the subject of Latitude, I've never been but have many friends trying to persuade me to go each year, alas I'm just too poor and last year chose Leeds, which was by no means a bad choice, it was an awesome weekend! If you are going this year, do look out for I Am Kloot, probably one of the most uplifting bands you'll ever see live, trust me on that!
And finally... can we please try to agree on a Talking Heads album between us for crying out loud! I thought Remain in Light would be a shoe-in, along with Stop Making Sense... I nicked this idea off the Empire forums and so many posters selected my choice as well that I thought it couldn't lose lol.

I agree GLC are out for a laugh, but I can listen to it again and again - and I have friends who agree. Doubt anyone else will vote for them though.
The non-music content is what makes Latitude really enjoyable, plus it's not too busy (although they've included another 5,000 on top of last year). On top of all the music there's a Radio 4 tent, poetry, theatre, dance and film for those who like that sort of thing, plus Bill Bailey, Phil Jupitus, Ross Noble, Rich Hall, Dave Gorman, Jeremy Hardy, Milton Jones (who is brilliant)... I could go on.
