We were definitely linked with Howard in the Leciester Mercury for what thats' worth. Hope it's just a lazy rumour as I think he's now past it according to a Leicester season ticket holder I know. Has Hartson-esque pace now apparently, so would be best avoided!

Hi guys.
Just to let you know, the rumours in Leicester concerning this transfer are not very strong, all seems to come from your end.
To be honest, he only performed once last season, scoring a hat-trick at West Brom, his legs have gone, doesn't win as many headers as we would like and gived away far too many free-kicks when going for 50/50 balls.I don't think he would be a good signing for you, especially as we are likely to want around £1million for him, we paid £1.5million.
If you did place a bid around that mark, i would be happy to see him go, however i would be just as happy to see him stay. League 1 could be his level this year and may be what we need when we are up against it, 1-0 down away at Carlisle with ten minutes left, long balls galore. ![Smile [:)]](/cs/emoticons/emotion-1.gif)

Ncfcstar, I really wouldn't pay the slightest bit of attention to Jordi. Simply put he probably genuinely believes that if you don't live in Norwich you aren't a real fan and well, we all need to pay our bills! Still, could always be worse. You could work @ Portman Rd!
Jordi, I really wouldn't quote the EDP as a source to prove you're correct when the article itself says repeatedly 'linked'. ie: Not confirmed, paper talk, pure speculation etc..........

look what i said about my mate in leicster said that on msn, my 4 mates in wymondham all said its true about the EDP linked players. i didn't say it was confirmed i just said thats what EDP wrote on their website and newspaper.
btw. i've been to Yorkshire, Southampton, Belguim, Germany, France, Cyprus, Greece x2 sooo there haha

Haha - please let this be true. If you pay £1.25m for this lump of * it will be the sale of the century. Enough said i think.. Good luck.. especially if you get him, getting a class act like lupoli upfront and then getting a Howard to partner him is a joke - he wont set anything up.
