12/09/2005, 4:27 PM Darren Turner Joined on 12/09/2005 Posts 21 St Johns FC-Early 90's Hi,Im Darren Turner i use to play for St Johns in the early 90's as a left winger, unfortantly im getting on a bit in football terms (37) but i still play regular footie for a local Sunday team Gardeners Arms FC which i play left back also im the Captain. I use to like playing for St Johns and i notched up a few goals in my time their scoring 4 goals against a Cosstesey side wich never got in the Pink un unlike all the rest i scored, anyway thats enough about me i would like to hear from anybody who played for St Johns in the early 90's people like, Steve Barber,Will Foster,Andy Clark,Paul Futter(cookie) and anyone else who played then, ive met Norman Christmas last season anyone rember him? he now Refere's the old git he was in his 40's when he played for St Johns back in the 90's now he's realy old with bandy legs  poor devil. hope to hear from you soon thanks. Cookie is still about, not for St John's this year though I don't think... think he plays Sunday's... played in goal for us last year a handfull of times. Andy Clark? is he the league secretary fella? Umm oldies that were these last year with me... Darren Holmes, Dingy, Colin Day, Ross... Gary Notley was and still is my gaffer.
