Castle Acre Swifts new leaders of Central and South Norfolk league

There are new leaders in the First Division - Castle Acre Swifts won by the odd goal of seven at Bridgham United and leap frog over Morley Village who did not play and Tacolneston who were beaten 3-2 at Northwold S&SC.

North Elmham move up another place into fourth as a result of their 2-0 win at Rockland United while Dereham Town A slip to fifth after going down to a 3-1 defeat in their local derby with Shipdham. Swaffham Town A are up to sixth after beating bottom team Narborough 2-0 and Yaxham were 5-1 winners at Thetford Rovers Reserves.

Division Two leaders Rampant Horse were beaten by the only goal of the game at Hethersett Athletic and Nostro have moved up to second after their 5-2 win at Cockers. In the only other match, Necton beat bottom team Saham Toney Reserves 7-0.

The Division Three leaders Litcham won 4-1 at Methwold United but the three teams immediately below them all dropped points. Second-placed Attleborough Athletic were beaten 3-1 at home by Splitz United, Watton United A in third spot went down 2-0 at North Elmham Reserves and Hingham Athletic Reserves dropped two points in being held to a 2-2 home draw by Stoke Ferry. Weeting move up to fifth after beating Marham Wanderers by the odd goal of five and Great Cressingham won 2-1 at bottom team Narborough Reserves.

The Division Four leaders, Mulbarton Wanderers A increased their lead to eight points after netting ten without reply from Shipdham Reserves. Yaxham Reserves are up to second after beating Gressenhall Reserves 5-0 and Walsingham United slip to third after being held to a 3-3 home draw by Feltwell United Reserves. Beetley United ran up the highest score of the day in beating bottom team Methwold United Reserves 13-1 and Tacolneston Reserves beat Castle Acre Swifts Reserves 4-2 at home.
