Runners-up spot in Division Two will go to the last match of the season following Saturday’s results. Yaxham won 2-0 at Nostro but North Elmham beat West End 8-1.
The Division One programme for the season was completed with Tacolneston following up their win in the Ambulance Cup final on Wednesday evening by beating league champions Feltwell United 3-2 in their last match in the league before departing for pastures new.
Morley Village beat Bridgham United 2-1 to move a step closer to the Division One runners up spot – they need to win their last match at Northwold on Tuesday evening to make absolutely sure of the position.
League champions Feltwell United were held to a 4-4 draw by Gressenhall. This result means that Gressenhall with their 11 draws break the League record for the most draws in a season which has stood for 27 years.
Feltwell United received the League Championship trophy following their home match against Shipdham but they left it late to secure a point from a 2-2 draw. Morley Village moved to within one point of second-placed Dereham Town A as a result of their 5-2 win at Bridgham United. Northwold S&SC stay fourth after their 1-1 draw at Gressenhall and Rockland United and Thetford Rovers Reserves also took a point each from a 2-2 draw.
