Big thanks go to Gorleston Rangers FC for helping this team out when it was needed. At the last minute Gorleston Rangers FC stepped in to enable the ladies to continue to play after their previous club disbanded their team.

After a lot of effort and commitment and with a good positive attitude towards training, this was rewarded with good results on the pitch. Team work was the key to a great season. Going into the last game of season away to Mulbarton, both teams were level on 40 points each, Rangers had already beaten Mulbarton earlier in the season in a close evenly matched encounter 2 -1, therefore, Gorleston knew it would be tough.

With players missing we didn’t let anyone down with Gorleston Rangers FC deservedly winning this decider 3-2. Player of the match: Elisha who worked really hard.

Credit to everyone involved in this season who have all worked really hard for this success. This is a friendly team. To win the league is based on whole season not just one game so congratulations to all players (Amy, Sasha, Durds, Jazz, Becky, Betty, Elisha, Cyan, Tonni, Gemma, Katherine, Lauren D, little Sam, tall Sam, Lauren H, Amy G, Evellina, Swanny,Kim, and back room crew Sue, Scott, Andrew, Steve coach and Katherine player manager they are working together next season and thanks to Bobbie who played her part at the start of season.

Finally, Rangers have a five-a-side mini soccer tournament at Ormiston Venture Academy, Oriel Avenue, Gorleston on 17th June there are still spaces for ladies’ teams and this season’s under 15 girls age group. Again contact Steve for more information or Chris Dunne Gorleston Rangers FC secretary 01493 601256 for an application form.
