A youthful Norwich City side shared the spoils with Wroxham last night in a testimonial match for Gavin Pauling.
The Canaries, represented by a mixture of under-18s and triallists, went close to breaking the deadlock in the first half, with twins Josh and Jacob Murphy both going close. And they might have won it near the end, with a Jacob Murphy effort coming back off the woodwork.
Wroxham stalwart Pauling is donating all the money raised last night to the Addenbrokes Charitable Trust, in memory of Wroxham keeper Liam Still, who died in a car accident.
• Norwich City XI: Matthews, Dean, Hestor, Durojaiye, Gafiati, Sheriff, Jacob Murphy, Webb, Loza, Balmy, Josh Murphy. Subs: Bristan-Hall, Hawkins, King, McNeil.

Yes, Penfold. A bit dismissive, that. I expect those guys might have liked a little bit of the limelight. Perhaps the journo couldn`t be bothered to ask? Assuming one even went to the game. Poor show.
