The Canaries were smashed 4-0 at Millwall on the eve of the first international break of the season, during which the summer transfer window also came to a close.

The Canaries’ key purchase was Newcastle and Scotland centre-back Grant Hanley, while City also managed to keep hold of their most prized assets – including Portuguese striker Nelson Oliveira.

Swiss international Timm Klose is primed for a return following his knee injury sustained in pre-season, while head coach Daniel Farke will hope for improved options and a better performance to shake off his side’s south London disappointment last month.

Following Saturday’s game, City are back at Carrow Road for the visit of Burton Albion on Tuesday night (7.45pm) before they head to newly promoted Sheffield United the following weekend.
