The Cameroon international demonstrated how much Norwich City have missed him with a commanding display against his former club.

Strong in the air and on the ground, he had an equally solid ally in Michael Turner.

Welcome return for the big man. Powerful tour de force knitting it all together.

After some indifferent displays, there were some fine individual performances with Alex Tettey and Robert Snodgrass all busting a gut and Mark Bunn excellent in goal.

  • Thought someone should have gone at Bale, even at the risk of a booking. Thought Snodgrass deserved MotM for at last using his RIGHT FOOT to cross the ball. Now if only Wesley could do the same..

  • Absolutely not. If you look at Bale's goal Bassong is not even jogging back he is having a stroll in the park. He is a fabulous defender but he does need to be a bit quicker getting back from set pieces and his concentration levels are wanting towards the end of games. My motm, Bunn.

  • Bunn for me.He showed improved shot-stopping and a general air of authority around the area. His handling and kicking are pretty reliable. The Bale goal would have defeated the great Keelan let alone Bunn.Well done also to Alex Tettey for not doing the cynical thing but the right thing.Short-term success is no substitute for the long-term value of the brand.
