A change of scheduling to the Championship play-off semi-finals has been announced.
The first leg between whoever finishes fifth and fourth respectively had been set to take place on Monday, May 13 with an 8pm kick-off.
Now, however, it has been shifted to a 2.15pm kick-off on Sunday, May 12.
That decision has been taken in order to avoid the possibility of Midlands clubs Aston Villa (who host Liverpool on Mon, May 13) and West Brom Albion (who currently sit fifth in the Championship table) both playing at home on the same night.
The play-off semi-final first between teams in sixth and third will take place on Sunday, May 12 (12.30pm ko).
City currently sit in sixth place on 72 points, level with West Brom, who have a better goal difference.
David Wagner’s men, who play Swansea this weekend before ending the regular season at Birmingham, need four points to mathematically guarantee a play-off spot.
