Buxton Reserves seized their chance to cut the gap with a 6-0 triumph over Briston. This left them just seven points adrift of Lyng, who have played three games more. The title race could be decided when the top two meet in the final fixture of the season. In Slater & Frith Division One, the race is on for runners-up medals behind champions East Ruston. Hoveton, with games in hand, are coming up on the rails and their 4-1 win at Happisburgh left them three points off Stiffkey who are level with 38 points with Gimingham who they beat 3-1, while North Walsham Old Boys, who were 3-1 winners at Buxton, are a further point adrift.

Wayford Nurseries Division Two: Barney 4, East Ruston Reserves 0; Buxton Reserves 6, Briston 0; Horning 1, Lyng 0; Runton 5, Aylsham A 3; North Walsham OB Reserves v Hickling postponed.

Ebridge Feeds Division Three Cup Group A: Gimingham Reserves 0, Bodham 5; Corpusty Reserves v Aldborough postponed. Group B: Briston Reserves 2, Blakeney 13.
