Coltishall early pace-setters

Coltishall continue to set the pace in the Slater & Frith Division One after they recorded a 4-2 victory at Ludham.
Second placed Runton were again amongst the goals, this time away at Haisboro Athletic hitting the net six times with their hosts scoring just the once. North Walsham ‘A’ claimed all the points at home to Worstead, winning by a 3-1 margin whilst Horning were 3-0 winners at home to Corpusty
The Norfolk Primary Cup dominated the primary section of the league and in the Wayford Nurseries Division Two of the games to take place Gimingham Reserves beat their hosts Aldborough Lion Reserves 7-3. Aylsham ‘A’ notched up a 4-1 win whilst Holt ‘A’ made it four wins out of four to move into second spot in the table
Knights Trophies Division Three leaders Plumstead Rangers were in a scoring mood netting six times away at Holt Colts, Glaven Valley hit double figures at Erpingham Reserves’ expense who replied twice.
It was nothing short of a disastrous day in the Primary Cup as every team involved, with the exception of Trunch, lost interest in the competition but they face a replay at home to Splitz after drawing 2-2 aet.
