Wroxham had all the chances to dominate this FA Cup tie but wasted all of them to allow their visitors a one-goal lead just before the break.

Wroxham were first to attack but Lemmon's mis-hit shot was directly at the keeper and then shortly after White set up Hilton who hit too high.

Wroxham's White found the net but the offside flag was up. Wroxham were caught napping well up field but Self put in a late tackle that earned him a yellow card. Wroxham's Key let fly with a deceptive left footer that was swerving just under the bar but Moss-Sanders caught the ball.

Once again the Yachtsmen's right-back Self was called on to make a last- ditch effort then Notman and Hilton combined splendidly to set Gilmore free whose final shot flew wide.

The visitors seemed certain to go behind when Danny White had space to pick his spot but his effort was directed at the wrong top corner convenient for the keeper to swat the ball down without trouble.

For the whole half Wroxham had appeared vulnerable to corners and free kicks and in the 40th minute Jackson failed to gather the ball cleanly and it ran loose for Luke Fisher to ram home the 40th minute goal that broke the deadlock.

t Half time: Wroxham 0, Heybridge Swifts 1

The Yachtsmen came out in the second period keen to get on level terms and in the 57th minute they achieved their aim when a cross was dropped by the visiting keeper and ANDY KEY hooked the ball home, with the visitors appealing for a foul.

The home fans were now expecting greater effort from their cup heroes. And when Self crossed to Hilton they were on their toes. But Moss-Sanders somehow contrived to push the ball away. The visitors also had a chance but Gillespie lofted his header well over the target and then their midfielder Hawes was shown yellow for a robust tackle on Key.

Yachtsmen scored on the 68th minute. Andy Key did the spade work on the left and crossed to the edge of the six-yard box where the Swifts were very slow to clear and the ball ran loose for DANNY WHITE to net.

Wroxham midfielder Lemmon and centre-back Challen kept the home side in the game with two tremendous blocks. The Swifts' Billy Hawes was shown the red card for his second caution. Wroxham fans then celebrated a most famous win over the team from the higher league, and eagerly awaiting the Monday draw.
