King's Lynn have this afternoon completed a one month loan deal for Peterborough striker Kwesi Appiah.

Appiah has agreed an initial move from the Championship outfit yesterday after Heggs was forced into the loan market again following Mansfield frontman Jason Bradley's recent ankle injury.

Posh boss Darren Ferguson signed Appiah from Conference National Ebbsfleet in October 2008 but the 19-year-old has yet to make his senior breakthrough.

The London Road prospect was on the bench for United's 5-2 second string win over Norwich City this month.

“Peterborough aren't going to sign players from the Conference if you they don't see you as a future first teamer,” said Heggs. “He's a powerful lad with loads of ability, good feet, and he can score goals. He's played two levels higher for Ebbsfleet and Weymouth and we're lucky to get him to a Unibond club.

“I expect him to be quite a handful. He's hungry and he's at an age where he will have something to prove to his club. Darren Ferguson and David Oldfield at Peterborough have told him this is a great place to come for a month and score some goals.”
