Norfolk-raised MLS star Dom Dwyer has shown off his footballing skills in a dressing room video - with the help of a teammate and a bin.

The 25-year-old failed to make the grade during an injury-hit spell with the Canaries as a youngster and chased the American dream following stints with non-league King’s Lynn and Staines.

Dwyer, who lived in King’s Lynn during his early teenage years, took up a scholarship at Texas’ Tyler Junior College in 2009.

Two years later he moved on to the University of South Florida where another successful season saw him selected by Sporting Kansas City in the MLS Draft of 2012.

A single season club record return of 22 goals in 2014 saw Lynn’s former Springwood High School pupil agree a new deal in December which has made him the club’s best paid asset outside of their designated player quota.
