Lowestoft Town have been handed the chance to exact revenge for their 2013 play-off final defeat in the first round of the FA Trophy.
The Trawlerboys’ hopes of gaining promotion from the Ryman League Premier Division were put on hold for another year when Concord Rangers won 2-1 at Crown Meadow. Twelve months later the Blues joined the Canvey Island club at Step Two of the non-league ladder and on Saturday, December 12 they will lock horns again with £5,000 prize money and a place in the last 32 the incentive.
National League North Lowestoft thumped St Albans City 4-0 – whose joint-managers James Gray and Graham Golds resigned after the defeat – in Saturday’s third qualifying round while their southern division counterparts beat Sutton United by three goals to one.
