Morley Village up to second

In Division One, Morley Village beat North Elmham 4-2 to move up to second place while Northwold S&SC won by the only goal of the game at the bottom team Narborough.

Bridgham United won their local derby with Thetford Rovers Reserves 4-1 and Swaffham Town A and Dereham Town A shared the spoils from a 4-4 draw.

There was just one match in Division Two – West End preserved their 100% start to the season with a 5-0 home win over Tugas United to move up to third.

In the only match in Division Three, Great Cressingham picked up their first points of the season with a 1-0 home win over and Hingham Athletic Reserves and moved off the foot of the table as a result.

Division Four has new leaders after Walsingham United beat Northwold S&SC Reserves 9-0 and Mulbarton Wanderers A beat Feltwell United Reserves 2-0 to move up to third place.

In the second round of the Ben Smith Memorial Cup, Cockers beat Methwold United 4-2 while Castle Acre Swifts Reserves had a good 2-1 win at Colkirk. Tacolneston Reserves ran up the highest score of the day in beating Methwold United Reserves 12-1, Marham Wanderers ran out 7-2 home winners over Narborough Reserves and Mulbarton Wanderers Reserves won by the same score at Rampant Horse. Nostro beat Necton by the only goal of the game and Wendling won 3-1 at Rockland United Reserves.

Scarning United ran out 4-2 home winners over Hethersett Athletic while Attleborough Athletic had a comfortable 5-1 win at Shipdham Reserves. In the local derby, Beetley United beat Splitz United by the odd goal of nine and Weeting beat Nostro Reserves 6-0.

There were two successes in the second round of the Norfolk Junior Cup – Castle Acre Swifts beat Horsford Reserves 4-1 while Rockland United were 3-1 winners at South Creake.
