Norfolk Junior Cup defeats for North East Norfolk League sides

The NPSS Security Services NEN League no longer have any interest in the Norfolk Junior Cup when both of their sides lost their respective games, Runton went out to high flying Anglian Comb Division Two outfit Scole by the odd goal of seven at Woodhill. Gimingham suffered a 4-1 reverse at Hoveton Wherrymen.
Goals were in abundance in the Slater & Frith Division One game at Blacksmith Lane, Happisburgh when Worstead were the visitors, but despite falling behind the home side, thanks to four goals from Thomas Crabb, two from Will Pearce and one apiece from James Underhill and Alan Maxwell ran out 8-3 winners. Horning recorded their first win of the season at home against Corpusty, Ludham won by the odd goal of five at home to Aylsham ‘A’ whilst North Walsham ‘A’ returned home from Mundesley 2-1 winners.
Newly promoted Plumstead Rangers head the table in the Wayford Nurseries Division Two after they showed no mercy at bottom of the table Gimingham Reserves, notching up an 8-1 success. The two sides below them, Blakeney and Cromer Youth Old Boys, met at the former ground and the game finished all square at three apiece, on target for the home side were Toby Blowers (2) and Jamie Nelson with Lee Harrod, Kieran Amis and Joe Leah replying for the visitors. Cawston hit six at home to Corpusty Reserves who replied twice, Aldborough Lions won the local derby at Erpingham convincingly by a 5-1 margin and Holt ‘A’ travelled to Hickling and returned home 3-1 winners.
Holt Colts are the new leaders of the Knights Trophies Division Three after a crushing 9-1 home win over Erpingham Reserves, Trunch lost their top spot after they were beaten by new boys Southrepps for whom Ryan Swift scored twice and Gareth Daniels for ‘Repps’ in their 3-2 win with Vasilij Stamatov and Liam Amos replying for Trunch. Felmingham scored an 8-2 hammering of Worstead Reserves, Plumstead Reserves and Aldborough Reserves shared four goals and the points while East Ruston Reserves defeated Mundesley Reserves by the odd goal of three.
