North Elmham close the gap on Castle Acre Swifts

Division One leaders Castle Acre Swifts were without a game following a late postponement by their opponents, Shipdham. As a result, North Elmham cut the lead at the top to just five points following their 4-2 home win over Rockland United.

Third-placed Morley Village dropped two points in being held to a 1-1 draw at Bridgham United. Swaffham Town A beat Gressenhall 5-1 and stay sixth and Dereham Town A are seventh after a 5-1 home win over Northwold S&SC. In the battle of the bottom two, Thetford Rovers Reserves beat Narborough 4-0 to move out of the relegation places.

Scarning United are up to second place in Division Two after beating leaders Rampant Horse 3-0 and Necton are up to third following their 4-0 win at Bawdeswell. West End won by the odd goal of seven at Nostro. Bottom team Saham Toney Reserves belied their lowly position and drew 3-3 at Hethersett Athletic to pick up their first point of the season with a spirited performance in a very open and entertaining game.

The top two in Division Three were both held to draws. Leaders Litcham drew 4-4 at Hingham Athletic Reserves who move up to third as a result of their point and Attleborough Athletic were held to a goalless draw by Stoke Ferry. Weeting were beaten 2-0 at Wendling and drop to fourth place. Great Cressingham are up to seventh after beating Splitz United 3-0 while Marham Wanderers picked up three valuable points from their 3-2 home win over Colkirk. Methwold United beat bottom team Narborough Reserves 5-1 and Rockland United Reserves scored the only goal of the game to beat North Elmham Reserves.

The Division Four leaders Mulbarton Wanderers A won 3-1 at Dereham Cockers United to go 10 points clear at the top of the table. Yaxham Reserves beat bottom team Methwold United Reserves 8-1 to move up to third place. Nostro Reserves won 3-0 at Gressenhall Reserves to stay fifth. Castle Acre Swifts Reserves and Weasenham Wanderers shared the spoils from a goalless draw and Shipdham Reserves won by the odd goal of three at Tacolneston Reserves.

In the fourth round of the Ben Smith Memorial Cup, Yaxham won by the only goal of the game at Beetley United.
