White quits Greens

Gorleston Football Club manager Jon White has quit the post it was revealed today. White took over boss at Emerald Park at the start of last season, guiding the Greens to a seventh placed finish in Ridgeons League Division 1.

GORLESTON Football Club manager Jon White has quit the post it was revealed today.

White took over boss at Emerald Park at the start of last season, guiding the Greens to a seventh placed finish in Ridgeons League Division 1.

The news of White's resignation came ahead the Sailor Brown Memorial Trophy at football club on Saturday.

A club statement said: “We would like to focus on Saturday first as it is very important and we don't want anything to mar the day.”
