WYMONDHAM Ladies had the difficult task of playing Mulbarton at home for the second week in a row, without five or six key players.

Mulbarton started the better team, but a chance fell to Sarah, who made great contact, but was unable to get it on target.

Mulbarton kept the ball on the floor, and their passes were good and accurate. They managed to score five in the first half, despite Wymondham's best efforts.

Wymondham came out for the second half unchanged, and gave a solid, battling performance, with Bee, Woody, Laura and Helen in particular working hard and keeping the score at 5-0.

Mulbarton added to their tally late on, when Emma tripped their attacker in the box, and they despatched the spot kick, and they added another in the last three minutes.

Mulbarton deserved their win, but Wymondham are still learning from the newer players, and despite having so many players missing, they were still able to name a full team.

Wymondham's next game is away to Stalham, 2pm kick-off.
