Tough game for depleted Waveney

With several key players missing, Waveney came against a very strong opposition on the day and were without a chance.

Despite the best efforts from the defenders M Eaton, M Wilson, K Hodgson and L Muffett and good saves from H Jary, Long Melford were 2-0 up at half time.

S Crane, K Harris, M Anderson and E Bennett tried their best to gain control of midfield and set up chances for L Teicher and A Cheverton in her debut, but two further goals towards the end gave Long Melford a convincing win.
