HETHERSETT GIRLS U14 put in a determined display at Aylsham but had to settle for a 1-1 draw after failing to convert a string of opportunities. Hethersett created three good chances in the opening five minutes. They took the lead after eight minutes when a good move involving Erica Hall, Sophie Cooke and Adelaide Mott saw Beth Evans fire in a shot which the keeper could only parry and Ella Stephenson was on hand to fire home. Aylsham came back into the game in the second half as Hethersett lost their shape and 15 minutes from the end, Aylsham broke through to notch the equaliser. Hethersett had strong appeals for a late penalty turned down.

ATTLEBOROUGH U7 hosted Thetford Bulldogs with both teams wanting the points. The deadlock was broken with a clinical finish from Asa Mcgeachy for Attleborough. This spurred Borough on and some, they went two up through Luke Havers. This gave Thetford more fire and were soon back into the game as they scored .But from the kick off Asa pounced on a loose ball and finished with style to bring the score back to 3-1. Thetford pushed and managed to pull one more back. This gave Borough more fight and with some quality defending from Daniel Bint and George Lusby, LouisVinson and Cameron Schofield and Jamie Taylor Thetford could not find a way through; Asa then got on the end of a long ball to smash home his third. Not happy with that, the second half was a one-way affair with Asa taking his tally to four with a fine finish. From the kick- off a fine through ball found, yes you can guess, Asa who rounded the keeper for number five and Attleborough's sixth with minutes to go. Asa then found himself clear to finish his double hat-trick and a resounding win for Attleborough 7-2. MoM: Asa Mcgeachy.
