It’s as you were at the top of the Slater & Frith Division One table in the NPSS Security Services NEN League when the top two sides both recorded away wins.
Leaders Gimingham hit double figures without reply away at Aylsham ‘A’ whilst Runton were 3-0 winners at North Walsham ‘A’. Haisboro Athletic returned home from Ludham victors by a 5-2 margin, Mundesley scored a 3-1 home success over East Ruston whilst Horning were 2-1 home winners over Worstead.
With the Wayford Nurseries Division Two leaders Plumstead Rangers idle, Erpingham moved level on points with them after their 3-2 home win over Corpusty Reserves. Holt ‘A’ lost a chance to join them but they dropped all the points when ending up on the wrong end of a 3-1 scoreline at home to Blakeney. Cawston travelled to Gimingham Reserves and romped to a 7-1 victory.
After their 3-2 home win over Felmingham, Trunch have now opened up an eight point gap at the top of the Knights Trophies Division Three. Aldborough Lions Reserves returned home from their visit to East Ruston Reserves odd goal winners of five, Plumstead Rangers Reserves also won away, by the odd goal of seven at Mundesley Reserves whilst Erpingham Reserves scored a 2-1 success away at Worstead Reserves.
The league’s remaining interest in the Primary Cup ended when both Aldborough Lions and Cromer Youth Old Boys went out.
