GREAT Yarmouth Town Ladies on Sunday had a tough cup match against Hethersett.

Yarmouth were rocked by injuries and had players in unfamiliar roles. Yarmouth played nowhere near their previous level. Passing was poor and possession was given away too easily, and Hethersett had a girl with a long throw-in that caused all sorts of problems.

Yarmouth started to play some football and Zoe had a half-chance. Just before half-time Molly burst clear of the defence but her effort went wide.

Second half was much the same with some good and bad play and both teams going close. Amy in goal had to make a couple of good saves and Gabi and Frankie had to make some great last-ditch tackles.

Broghan and Charlotte were carrying injuries and never attacked as they can. Emma P made her debut and was voted player of the match by Hethersett. Yarmouth pushed to force extra time but were caught out again and Hethersett added a second.
