The Canaries had two bids for the

22-year-old centre-half rejected in October - but the youngster will be treating today's fixture as just another game.

"It is a big game and I want to concentrate on it," he said. "I have been linked with Norwich so I don't think it would be wise to comment."

Seaborne will certainly have his work cut out as he aims to contain the most lethal strikeforce in Coca-Cola League One.

Central defensive partner Matt Taylor is relishing the prospect of coming up against the prolific trio of Grant Holt, Chris Martin and Wes Hoolahan.

"There are new challenges every week in this league and the players are bigger, stronger, quicker and better," said the Grecians skipper. "You really notice it when you come up against some top quality centre forwards. Every week we seem to have a really dangerous striker to deal with and Norwich have dangermen.

"It is something that we are learning to deal with and hopefully we can keep on learning."

Exeter head into today's match just two points above the League One relegation zone.

"It has been a steep learning curve," said Taylor. "We have probably found out a lot of things about ourselves. We have to learn that sometimes we need to be more ruthless and have a bit more steel. Performances count for something but it is points that really matter."

Meanwhile Exeter striker Marcus Stewart is braced for a barrage of abuse from Norwich fans as he attempts to end his Carrow Road jinx.

The former Ipswich striker has played at Norwich three times with Huddersfield and once with Sunderland. On all four occasions he has ended up on the losing side and has never scored at Carrow Road.

The 36-year-old, who was subjected to chants of 'scum' from visiting fans when City drew 1-1 with Norwich at St James's Park in August, is not fazed.

"Carrow Road has not been a massively lucky ground for me over the years," he said. "I haven't won there in a league game and haven't scored a goal either. Hopefully my luck will change."
