Breckland Middle School U11 girls' football team were winners of the Suffolk County Schools Football Championship Final.

Breckland Middle School U11's squad travelled to the Suffolk finals at Ixworth Middle, competing against eight other Suffolk finalists.

They will now represent the county at the 12-team regional final in London.

The Breckland girls did themselves proud, playing lovely passing football and after winning all group matches without conceding they progressed to the final with a 4-0 victory over Britannia PS Ipswich.

After narrowly missing out in the final last year the girls were keen to turn things around and really turned on the style with a comfortable victory over Bramford PS Ipswich 6-0.

Brandon Lasses AFC congratulate the team as all the players have been, or still are, involved with the club.

School/club links are essential to keep the development of girls' football and this a typical example of how this partnership works together to benefit both school, club and most importantly the players.
