City's on-loan goalkeeper Ben Alnwick has returned to parent club Tottenham because of a hip injury. The problem means Alnwick could be out of action for up to six weeks but Canaries manager Paul Lambert today said that he had no immediate plans to bring in another goalkeeper.

Fraser Forster has had his loan extended until the new year while back-up will be provided by Declan Rudd and Michael Theoklitos.
