Derby County have confirmed reports that they have rejected two offers from Norwich City for striker Liam Dickinson.

Both bids, described as "small", did not match the Rams' valuation of the 23-year-old forward.

"Norwich are showing some interest in Liam and have made two small offers," said chairman of football Adam Pearson. "If the offer is somewhere close to what we feel is acceptable, we would consider it but the offers have not been at that level."

As reported in yesterday's Evening News, Dickinson, 23, is said to be angry at the "unrealistic" price tag placed on him by the Rams.

The Salford-born forward joined Derby for 750,000 from Stockport last summer but failed to play a first team game last season.
