Lynn's stoppage time curse struck again last night to deny Keith Webb's men at Damson Park.

Bradley Thomas' close range back heel looked to have bagged a priceless Blue Square North away win before Solihull sub James McPike fired past Scott Howie in the 92nd minute.

Lynn's management trooped down the tunnel at the final whistle scarely able to believe the Linnets could blow yet another three points, after AFC Telford stunned Lynn in the same cruel fashion at the weekend.

Webb was forced into one change from the club's 1-1 Telford draw - Dominic Dwyer making his first senior start alongside Norwich loan recruit Kris Renton, after Jack Defty was ruled out through work commitments.

Dwyer then harried Tom Bonner into a miscued clearance that dropped for Renton but the Canary youngster was crowded out on the edge of the box.

Renton fired straight at Crane from 20 yards after Adam Smith was scythed down in the build up. Andy Johnson grazed the outside of Crane's right hand upright with a rasping strike from fully 25 yards midway through the half - Solihull's stopper a helpless spectator. The impressive Dwyer pick pocketed Bonner before cutting inside to unleash a low shot Crane pushed around his left hand post.

Thomas back heeled Lynn in front from close range on 55 minutes from Smith's superb dipping free kick sparked a bout of penalty box pinball.

Andrew Fisk scuffed a sharp chance to double the visitors' lead from Renton's cut back, with the Linnets' young strike force looking to exploit space in behind at every opportunity. Fisk pulled up clutching his left hamstring after bursting through the centre of the park. Lynn survived a huge penalty appeal when McPike's driven cross struck Johnson as Solihull pinned the visitors back for the first time in the contest.

Greg Crane returned after his four match ban to add some much needed aerial presence into the mix as Solihull continued their late onslaught.

Solihull sprung a final desperate counter after Mitchell was robbed from Lynn's resulting corner which was helped on to McPike who fired past the sprawling Howie to stun Lynn for the second time in four days.
