Diss moved through to the Ridgeons Division One Cup final on April 22 with a penalty shoot-out win against local rivals Debenham. Both sides scored a goal in the closing stages of the first half. The visitors took the lead in the 41st minute when a Stuart Jopling header hit the bar and Mark Powling followed up to head the loose ball in from four yards out. A minute before half-time Luke Catchpole created an opening and curled a 25-yard shot into the corner of the net. There was no further scoring in normal time nor extra-time. Diss won the penalty shoot-out 3-1, with three Debenham players firing high over Matty Hill's crossbar. Their only successful kick came from Warren Taylor-Holt whereas Diss scored all three of the kicks they took, through Mark Fowler, Osiris Gomes and Steve Wright.
