Spanish Segunda Division outfit Las Palmas have met Norwich City officials to 'strengthen ties' between the two clubs.
A Las Palmas delegation was at Carrow Road earlier on Tuesday where they met executive director Zoe Webber and commercial chief Sam Jeffrey.
The Gran Canarian club, currently second in the Spanish second tier, later released a statement on their official web site, which read:
"UD Las Palmas held a match this afternoon with Norwich City, an EFL Championship team, at Carrow Road, the club's headquarters. The general director, Patricio Viñayo, and the director of Marketing, Noelia Pérez, had lunch with Zoe Webber, executive director of Norwich, Sam Jeffrey and Gavin Beard, commercial and marketing directors, respectively, of the English club.

"This visit to the club's facilities has served as a starting point and contact point between the two entities, an approach with the idea of creating future collaborations in the exchange of knowledge, new experiences in the areas of grassroots football or bilingual campuses, as well as activations for fans of both teams."
City previously announced a 'strategic football partnership' with Brazilian side Coritiba, which has already seen Jeffrey and sporting director Stuart Webber travel to Brazil in the summer, and a select number of junior players from Coritiba spend time at Colney.
