Norwich City had two representatives in international action last night, although neither of the pair was able to secure victory for their nations.

Danel Sinani played for Luxembourg in their friendly against Hungary, playing the full match as Gerson Rodrigues and Alessio Curci’s goals earned a 2-2 draw at the Stade de Luxembourg.

Also featuring was City youth player Tom Dickson-Peters, whose impressive Premier League 2 form earned him his first appearance for Scotland’s under-21s. He couldn’t stop the young Tartan Army’s slide to a 2-1 defeat by Iceland, however, with Kristall Mani Ingason’s double earning a 2-1 win for the visitors.

Two Canaries also featured on Wednesday night, with Marcelino Nunez playing the full 90 as Chile lost 1-0 to Poland, while Grant Hanley played half the senior Scotland side’s 2-1 reverse against Turkey.

Scotland have no more fixtures in this international break, while Luxembourg and Chile play Bulgaria and Slovakia respectively on Sunday.
