Rewind to November 29, 2003 and relive memories of Norwich City's home game against Crewe Alexandra.
It was one of Nigel Worthington's favourite catchphrases: "If you don't shoot, you don't score."
And after a feeble five shots on goal against Coventry in the midweek, the Canaries rallied around their manager's advice and peppered Crewe with 26 shots four days later.
That averaged out at one pot at goal for every three-and-a-half minutes played.
Readers who attended the game might recall, however, only 11 of these were on target.
City made the breakthrough in the 39th minute when Gary Holt nodded the ball to Manchester City loanee Darren Huckerby who cooly slotted it past Crewe keeper Clayton Ince.
The scorer's strike partner and fellow loanee Peter Crouch put in a good performance as well, winning aerial challenges and controlling the ball well - he did everything but score.
As 2003 drew to a close there was much speculation about the fates of these two exciting loan signings and fans wondered who might be tempted to stay.
